White Rice - Fast and Easy (1 cup svg)

Ingredients
4 cups of water2 tsps salt1 tbs vegetable oil3 cups of rice
Directions
1. Place water, salt and vegetable oil in a pot. Cook on high and bring to a boil.

2. Add rice and stir. Let cook until water comes to a boil again.

3. Reduce heat to med-high, and continue to cook uncovered until water is no longer covering the rice and rice begins to look a little bit dry.

4. Reduce heat to med-low and place lid on pot. Let rice steam and stir occasionally, making sure the rice cooks completely through.

Makes 6 1-cup servings
