Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
1 lb. extra lean ground beef1 cup chopped onion2 cloves garlic, minced30 oz canned tomatoes, cut up6 oz canned tomato sauce1/4 cup snipped parsley1 tbsp. brown sugar1 tsp. salt1.5 tsp. dried oregano, crushed1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed1 bay leaf
Directions
In dutch over, combine ground beef, onion and garlic; cook till meat is browned and onion is tender. Skim off excess fat, add 2 cups water and remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 3 - 6 hours or till sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf. Serve over spaghetti with Parmesan cheese.
