Spicy Lentil Soup

3 Tbsp OIive oil, 400 grams red Lentils, 400 grams Roma Tomatoes diced, 1 large yellow onion chopped , 3 cloves minced garlic, 2 tsp corriander seeds and 2 tsp cumin seeds(slightly crusehd), 1 tsp red pepper flakes, juice of 1 small lemon, vegetable and chicken bouillion. 8 cups water.
in stock pot heat oil, add onion and garlic and sautee until translucent. Meanwhile in separate pot (I use a tea kettle) heat water.
To stock pot Add corriander, cumin and red pepper flakes. stir fry about 1 minute. Add lentils, tomatoes, hot water and bouillion. Reduce heat to simmer, cover pot with lid slightly off. cook 30 to 35 minutes. Add lemon juice. Lentils will become soft with cooking. Serve with a dollop of sour cream or fresh yogurt
