Sautee Onions until soft on medium to low heat.
Add powdered spices and mix. Add water to avoid adding more oil.
Keep cooking spices and onion in the oil with a little water until the oil begins to separate back out.
Add Garbanzo Beans and tomatoes and bring to a boil.
Keep it at a simmer until beans reach preferred softness.
Add the spinach to the beans at the end so it softens.
This makes 2 servings.
