GERMAN Spinach spaetzele

Spinach, fresh, .5 bunch Mushrooms, canned, 1 cup *Flour, white, 1.5 cup Egg, fresh, 2 medium Water, tap, .5 cup (8 fl oz) Baking Powder, .5 tsp
makes 5 small serving (very filling)
First wash the spinach and cut the stick ends off so you have just the leaves.
Boil for a few minutes until soft.
drain the water and boil a second pot of water with the salt in it.
mix spinach with the flour egg baking soda and water and form into small balls once the water is at a fast boil add the balls. when they float you know they are done. Take them out of the water and set aside to cool, this is very important otherwise they are slimey, turn every few minutes until there in no more slime on the outside. Meanwhile open your canned mushrooms and fry them with a little bit of olive oil.
put mushrooms onto coole spinnage balls and eat.
