Braised Cabbage with Apple and Ham

1/2 head of green cabbage, sliced thin1 cup chick broth1 cup sliced onion1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce3 ounced fat free ham sliced into thin strips1 tbsp mustard (your choice)1/4 cup cider vinegar1 tbsp vegeta
Sice the cabbage and braise in the chicken stock, adding a bit at a time. Add the onion a bit at a time during this process as well. I use a large wok for this but any large frying pan will do as well.
Continue until all cabbage has been added and is limp.
Add applesauce and cider and stir until mixed and the moisture is absorbed.
Stir in mustard and vegeta
Toss in ham and let sit for about 15 minutes before serving.
