Beef Stroganoff, Maybe?

Ingredients
2 lbs. Beef, round steak1 large onion cut up3 4 oz cans of mushrooms, water and all3 tsp beef bouillon dissolved in 3 cups water1/4 cup of white flour1 tsp sage1 tsp fennel1 can cream of mushroom soup
Directions
Spray a large skillet with vegetable spray.

Heat skillet to med. high while cutting steak into small 2 inch strips.

Put steak and onions in skillet to brown.

Add 3 tsp beef bouillon to 3 cups of water and whisk.

Add beef bouillon to skillet, stir.

Add 3 cans of mushrooms about 1.5 cups, stir.

Add sage and fennel seed, stir.

Bring to a boil then turn to medium and simmer for 20 minutes

Add can of cream of mushroom soup to skillet, whisking carefully..

Add water to flour till you form a paste and slowly add to skillet.

Simmer 5 more minutes or until reaches thickness you wish.

Rice, Pasta and sour cream not included in calorie count.

Serve 1 cup stroganoff over pasta (1 cup cooked 210 calories or rice(1 cup 205 calories. Add a dollop of sour cream if you wish (1 Tbs. 30 calories)

    It had a good flavor but way too much liquid.I would eliminate a cup of broth and maybe the liquid from the mushrooms next time. - 3/1/10
