Ingredients
2 kg ground lean beef4 tbsp olive oil2 medium eggplants3 medium onions1 hot pepper2 zucchini1 cup or can tomatoes chopped1.75 cups chicken broth2 teaspoon cinammon, nutmeg1 tbsp cuminsauce:50 g flour45 g butter1 cup milk1 cup grated parmesan 1 cup grated gruyeresalt and pepper to taste
Directions
pre heat oven 220 celcius
saute oinons and pepper in 1/2 the oil
add rest of oil and eggplant and zucchini and let soften
add meat - cookk for 10 minutes
add chopped tomatoes cook 5 minutes
add chicken broth
cook for 10 minutes
pour into baking pan
to make sauce:
melt butter
add flour
whisk in milk to make smooth and thicken
add cheese and melt
pour over meat
bake for 20 - 30 minutes until top is golden brown
