Homemade Mac 'n' Cheese with Ham

Ingredients
2 lbs pasta (macaroni)4 lbs ham, diced1 lb colby jack cheese, shredded1/2 onion, minced3 cloves garlic, smashed and minced1/2 stick butter1/2 cup flour1 1/2 cups milk
Directions
preheat oven to 350*
cook pasta according to directions.
saute onion and garlic. when browned add ham to heat up
in large sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. remove pan from heat and stir in flour to make rue. place back on heat and add cheese and milk. stir constantly until cheese is melted. in extra large mixing bowl combine pasta, ham and cheese sauce. divide into two 9x13 baking dishes, and bake for 15-20 minutes. makes 24 servings
