Italian Sausage, Potatoe, and Kale Soup

5.5 cups of chicken broth1/2 cup of fatfree half-and-half2 medium russet potatoes, diced (peeling is optional)4 cups of kale, chopped4 links of Jenny-O Spicy Italian Sausage (mild is also okay)1/2 tsp salt (adjust to your taste)
Combine the broth and half-and-half in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and kale. Cover pan and let simmer. Remove sausage from casings and cook in a skillet until browned. Add to soup. Continue cooking soup (covered) until the vegetables are soft (about 30 minutes).
