Not My Mom's Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
1lb ground turkey1/2 yellow onion1 yellow bell pepper finely diced1 large carrot finely diced15 oz tomato sauce1 tbsp brown sugar2 tbsp worcestershire sauce2 tbsp ketchup8 hamburger buns
Directions
In large skillet over medium heat, brown the meat in its own juices until it is almost cooked through. Drain off excess liquid and add vegetables to the skillet.

Saute' the mixture for 2 minutes and add all the remaining ingredients, except buns. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 15 - 20 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

To serve sandwiches, toast the buns lightly and fill each one with a large spoonful of the meat mixture.

Serve with a salad
