Pesto, Tried and True

Ingredients
Pesto Base1 Cup Fresh Basil1/4 Cup Olive Oil1 TBLS Pine Nuts2 Garlic Cloves1/2 Tsp saltFinished Pesto1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese shredded1 TBLS Romano Cheese grated1.5 TBLS butter softened (not melted)
Directions
Add Pesto base and blend in processor until almost smooth. Add the finished pesto ingredients in blender. Put in by TBLS in ice cube trays to freeze. Once frozen take out and put in plastic baggie to use one at a time. Makes 10 TBLS. I usually cut in half when using for single serving on pasta.
