Ingredients
1 can (15oz) chickpeas (garbanzo beans)1/4 cup tahini (sesame paste)1/3 cup lemon juice2 cloves garlic1 tsp salt
Directions
Peel 2 cloves of garlic and add to running food processor through feed tube. Stop processor. Add chickpeas and pulse processor until finely chopped. Add tahini and lemon juice. Blend in processor until creamy. Salt to taste.

For variety, you can add parsley, red pepper, olives, roasted peppers, more garlic, etc.

Makes 8 1/4-cup servings.
