Chicken asparagus soup

1 1/2 cups dry black beans prepared6 chicken flavored bullion cubes1 25.4 oz package frozen asparagus , chopped1 10 oz package frozen, chopped spinach1 c chopped carrots4.5 oz diced boneless, skinless chicken breast6 c water1/2 c brown rice1 small onion, chopped3 cloves garlic, minced1 t cayenne pepper2 t six pepper blend
1) Prepare beans according to package directions, drain
2) In a medium non-stick skillet, cook and stir chicken, garlic, and onion until chicken is no longer pink.
3) In a large stockpot, combine all ingredients, and bring to a boil
4) reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes, or until rice is tender.
Makes 8 main dish servings
