Chicken-Chili-Corn Fritter

1 5oz can of shredded chicken3 ounces shredded cheddar cheese1/2 cup drained canned whole kernel corn1 large egg3 tablespoons dried plain bread crumbs1/4 tsp: garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder and baking powderdash salt and ground pepper1 tablespoon olive/vegetable oil
In large mixing bowl combine all ingredients except oil; let stand a few minutes for flavors to blend.
In large nonstick skillet heat oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking; spoon mixture into skillet, forming 6 equal fritters. Using the back of a spoon, press top of each fritter to flatten slightly; cook until browned on bottom. Turn fritters over and cook until browned on other side.
