1 HEAD OF ROMAINE LETTUCE CHOPPED2 ROMA TOMATOES CHOPPEDI CUCUMBER CHOPPED6 GREEN ONIONS CHOPPED 1/4 CUP MINT CHOPPED FINE1/4 CUP PARSLEY CHOPPED FINE2/3 CUP FETA CHEESE CRUMBLED2 PIECES OF PITA BREAD CUT IN CROUTON BITE SIZE PIECES LEMON DRESSING1 TEASPOON MINCED GARLIC1/4 CUP LEMON JUICE1 TABLESPOON SALAD VINEGAR2 TABLESPOONS EX VIRGIN OLIVE OIL SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE 1/4 CUP SUMAC (IF YOU CAN FIND IT MAINLY IN MIDDLE EASTERN MARKETS)

PUT YOUR PITA CHIPS ON A COOKIE SHEET AND PLACE IN A 350 DEGREE OVEN UNTIL BROWN . AS I HAVE DONE IN A PINCH THROW THE BREAD WHOLE INTO THE HOT OVEN AND LET GET CRUNCHY PUT IN A BAG AND BASH IT WITH A POT TO BREAK INTO SMALL PIECES. THIS IS ALSO A GOOD STRESS RELEIVER.

IN A BOWL WISK GARLIC LEMON JUICE VINEGAR OLIVE OIL SALT PEPPER SUMAC AND SET ASIDE.

IN A LARGE BOWL WITH COVER MIX YOUR ROMAINE TOMATOES CUCUMBER GREEN ONIONS MINT PARSLEY TOGETHER WITH THE LEMON DRESSING I TEND TO PUT THE TOP ON THE BOWL AND SHAKE UNTIL EVERYTHING IS WELL COATED WITH THE DRESSING.

GET 4 PLATES AND DIVIDE EQUALLY TOP WITH FETA AND PITA CHIPS ... ENJOY

    This is a great combo! I added some RedWine Vinegar and used Apple Cider Vinegar equal parts of each since I doubled the recipe for a church picnic. I also added some green pepper minced up but it seriously doesn't need it. I did not have any sumac. - 9/13/14
