Betty Crocker's Chili Con Carne

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef (or ground venison)1 large onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, cruched1 Tblsp chili powder1/2 tsp salt1 tsp dried oregano leaves1 can (16 oz.) whole tomatoes, undrained1 can (15 1/2 oz.) red kidney beans, undrained
Directions
Cook beef, onion, & garlic in a 3 qt. sauce pan until beef is brown. Stir in remaining ingredients EXCEPT beans; break up tomatoes. Heat to boiling; reduce heat & simmer for one hour.

Stir in beans. Heat to boiling again; reduce heat & simmer for additional 20 mintues.
