Ingredients
Ground TurkeyPotatoes, dicedOnions, dicedCanned crushed (or fresh) tomatoesChicken brothGround Cumin, Cinnamon, Ginger, Garlic, Curry, CayenneFrozen peas or chopped pepper, optional
Directions
Brown 3 lbs of ground turkey with 3 cups of diced onion over medium heat in a large pot. Dice potatoes, enough for about 6 cups. Add potatoes, crushed tomatoes, and chicken broth to pot, allow to simmer. Add small amounts of spices at a time until desired taste is acheived. (I prefer a lot of heat so I use plenty of cayenne, cumin, and cinnamon. The ginger does something wonderful too though!) Add 2 cups of frozen peas or chopped pepper if you feel like something is missing. Cover and cook until potatoes are soft. It should end up being the consistency of chili and might even look like it although this will have an Indian flare thanks to the seasonings. Serves ten liberally.
