Galette à la mélasse

Ingredients
Galette à la mélasse1 c. margarine1 c. packed brown sugar1 egg4 tsp ground ginger1 c. molasses4 c. flour2 tsp baking soda
Directions
Preheat oven 350 F.

Cream together: margarine, sugar and egg.
Then, add remaining ingredients, mix well.
Shape dough in 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet, 1 1/2 inch apart. Flatten lightly with the bottom of a glass or with fingers.

Cook for about 10 to 12 minutes.
