Ingredients
12 oz venison tenderlion2 tbsp. butter1/2 cup onion, chopped1/2 cup green pepper, chopped2 tbsp flour1 cup water1 (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
Directions
cut venison into bite size pieces, brown in hot skillet in butter. Add onions and green peppers turn heat down to simmer and saute until soft. add flour to pan and brown a bit (your chioce on browness) add water and deglaze pan, cook until it starts to thicken then add tomatoes. Bring back to a boil, reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes or until meat is tender. serve over potatoes, noodles or rice. serves 4

    This was very good but I think it needs some more seasoning. I did substitute chicken broth for the water simply because I needed to use it up, but other than that, I left the recipe as is. I will definitely make this again, but will be spicing it up a bit. Thanks a lot for the recipe! - 3/14/11
