Oatmeal Cake

Ingredients
1 Cup Quick Oats1 1/4 Cup Boiling water1 Cup White Sugar1 Cup Brown Sugar2 Eggs1/2 Cup Margarine (1 stick)1 1/3 Cup Flour1 tsp Baking Soda1/2 tsp Salt1/2 tsp CinnamonTopping:6 Tbs Margarine1/4 Cup Coconut, shredded3/4 Cup Brown Sugar1/3 Cup Cream (I used Evaporated milk)Walnuts (as desired)
Directions
Mix Oat and Boiling water, let stand 15 min. Mix Sugars, eggs, Margarine, flour, Baking soda, Salt, Cinnamon. Add cooked Oats to flour mixture. Put in 9 X 13 greased pan. Bake @ 350 degrees for 30-35 Minutes.
Mix Topping ingredients together put on top of cake then under the broiler approximately 7 min. Watch closely or topping may burn.
