2.5 c flour1.5 c sugar1 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt1 tsp cocoa powder1.5 c apple sauce1 c butter milk2 eggs2 tbs red coloring1 tsp white vinegar1 tsp vanilla extractFrosting: .5 lb cream cheese softened1 stick buttter2 cups powdered sugar1 tsp vanilla extract
Oven 350. Mix dry and wet ingredients separte. Then combine. Mix all. Divide batter between 24 cupcakes. Bake 20-22 minutes and use a tooth pick to see if they are done.
Frosting: only frost when cake is completely room temp. Beat cream cheese butter ad vanilla. Add sugar. Mix on high until fluffy. Use knife to spread frosting onto cup cakes.
