1 T olive oil2 cloves garlic, crushed2 onions, choppedCelery stalk, chopped400 grams beef stewing steak, cubes2 tsp marmite1 cup hot water1/2 cup red kidney beanssalt and pepper
Fry the onion, garlic and celery in the olive oil on low heat. When soft add beef and stir briefly, then add hot water mixed with marmite. Add kidney beans. Slowly bring to slow simmer.
Stew gently for 2-3 hours with lid on.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Good with rice or mashed potato.
