2 cups french bread, torn into small pieces2 slices wheat bread, torn into small pieces2 cups 1% milk1/3 cup egg substitute (equivalent of 2 eggs)1 Tbsp. vanilla extract1/4 teasp. salt1/2 cup Splenda3/4 teasp. ground nutmeg1 teasp. Brummel and Brown spread with yogurt1/4 cup raisins
Put bread pieces in bowl. Cover with milk to soak. Combine egg sugstitute, Splenda, vanilla extract, salt, and ground nutmeg. Pour into bread mixture and fold in. Fold in raisins or nuts or fresh fruit. Bake at 350 degrees until firm and not jiggling. (takes around 45 minutes, but ovens vary.
