1 pound beef chuck cut into cubes.75 cup rice (uncooked)1/4 cup onion2 cloves garlic, minced1 TSP sage, salt and pepper to taste.
In a heavy sauce pan place beef, onion and garlic in about 5 cups water, bring to a boil and cook about an hour. Add rice, cook until meat is tender and rice is done.
