Ingredients
*Whole Wheat Flour, 4 cup (remove)*Quaker Oats - Quick 1 Minute - Dry, 0.5 cup (remove)Soy Flour, .75 cup, stirred (remove)Wheat bran, crude, .5 cup (remove)**Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 4 tbsp (remove)*Applesauce - Motts No Sugar Added, 1 serving (remove)*Black Currants, dried, 0.5 cup (remove)Walnuts, .5 cup, chopped (remove)*Land O Lakes light butter with canola oil, 8 tbsp (remove)Buttermilk, lowfat, 2 cup (remove)Baking Soda, 1 tsp (remove)Baking Powder, 3 tsp (remove)*MORTON Sea Salt, Fine Salt, 1 tsp (remove)*Now Stevia Extract, 1 g. packet, 4 serving (remove)
Directions
Mix all dry ingredients, then cut in very cold light butter with a pastry knife. Make a well and pour in applesauce and buttermilk. Mix briefly then pour out on counter and knead briefly just to incorporate all liquid and flour. Divide into three balls and flatten on a sprayed cookie sheet. Slice crisscross in top. Brush with egg wash or milk. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
