Basic Italian Pizza Dough

8 g Dried Yeast (1 pkg)1 tsp Granulated Sugar1 c Hot water12 oz Whole Wheat Flour (can use white too)1 tsp Table Salt1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1. Mix yeast and sugar with 4 Tbsp of the hot water, cover (optional) and set aside till frothy.
2. Mix flour with salt and make a well.
3. Add oil and remaining water ( 3/4 c) to yeast mixture (when frothy), add this to dry ingredients.
4. Mix all ingredients together to form dough.
5. Knead on a clean cool surface for 4-5 minutes till smooth, adding additional flour if dough appears too sticky.
6. Place dough back in mixing bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 30 minutes or until dough is doubled in size.
Makes 6 3" x 3" pieces of pizza
