Fresh Whiskey Sour

Ingredients
1.5 cup fresh squeezed lime juice1.5 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice2 cups Maker's Mark bourbon1 cup sugar3 cups (or to taste) water
Directions
Place one cup sugar and one cup water in a saucepan and bring to a low boil, reduce heat and let simmer for a few minutes until the sugar totally disolves. Cool completely and store in the fridge.

Squeeze and strain lemonds and limes. (Usually about 10 limes and 6 lemons). Pour juice in a large pitcher. Add water and simple syrup and bourbon to taste - I usually don't use all the water and syrup.
