German Goulasch

Ingredients
* Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 1 lb) * *Onion (fresh), .5 cupe) * Olive Oil, 2 tbsp * White Wine, 2 fl oz * *Flour, white, .2 cup * Paprika, 1 tbsp * Pepper, black, .25 tsp * Salt, .25 tsp * 1 large or 2 small Bay Leaf
Directions
In a large skillet heat up the olive oil, dice the onion and cube the meat. When the oil is hot, brown the onion and the meat until they have nice color. Deglase with the white wine and add about one cup of water and the spices. Simmer for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Thicken the gravy with one cup of water and the flour.
Serve over Potatoes, Rice or Pasta.
Tastes great as leftover with crusty bread.
