cobbler from memory

Ingredients
1/2 cup of butter1/2 cup of sugar1 applestrawberries, blackberries,raspberries, peaches, or just apples
Directions
Pre-Heat oven at 400 degrees
Cut up apple and a pint of whatever fruit you decided on.
Squeeze lemon juice on top.
Grease an 8 inch pie tin.
Put all of the fruit inside the pan,
dust the top with a tsp of sugar and maybe a little sprinkle of cinnamon.
In a sauce pan melt the butter
when the butter is melted stir in 1/2 cup of sugar
turn the stove burner off and stir in 1/2 cup of flour.
This should look like very thick, lumpy paste if it does not add more flour.
Cook for 40 minutes.
When you take it out of the oven, let it sit for at least five minutes...it will be very hot.

    I will try this as I have never been "good" at making cobbler, however I notice the flour was left out of the ingredients list, which I assume would change the calorie count. Could you revise it? Thanks - 3/14/10
