Homemade Breadsticks

Ingredients
2 1/4 tsp yeast1/2 cup warm water1 cup warm milk2 tbsp. oil3 tbsp. sugar3/4 tsp. salt3 1/2 cups flour1 tbsp butter1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Directions
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add to milk and oil. Add sugar, salt and flour. Mix well adding flour as needed and form into a soft ball. Let rise for 15 minutes in a warm place.
Pull off pieces of dough. Roll into sticks. Place sticks on greased cookie sheet or parchment lined cookie sheet. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and brush butter lightly over the tops of breadsticks. Sprinkle with cheese. Makes 12 servings. (12 breadsticks)
