Heart Healthy Fruit & Nut Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
Light Butter, 1.5 sticksSplenda Brown Sugar Blend, 3/4 cupCinnamon, ground, 2 tspGinger, ground, 1/4 tspNutmeg, ground, 1/4 tspBaking Powder, 1/2 tspBaking Soda, 1/2 tspSalt, 1/2 tspVanilla Extract, 1 tbspEgg, 1 large, lightly beatenOld fashioned rolled oats, 1 1/3 cupsWhole Wheat Flour, 1 1/2 cupsNatural almonds, whole, 1 cup, roughly choppedDried apricots, 1 1/4 cups, chopped into small bitsSunsweet Ones, Prunes, approx. 1/2 cup (about 8), chopped into small bitsDried Cherries, 1/4 cup, chopped into small bits
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream together light butter, Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, all spices, baking powder, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Beat in egg. Add oats, flour, chopped nuts. Mix well. Add all chopped fruits. Mix well. Drop cookie dough by small spoonfuls onto non-stick baking sheet. Bake for approx. 12 - 13 minutes. Do NOT OVERBAKE! Cookies should just start to turn brown on edges but still be soft in center. I used a small cookie scoop, 1.5 inches diameter, and got 58 cookies which equals only 68 calories per cookie!
