Homemade Tahini (Sesame Paste)

1/2 cup sesame seeds2 Tbs. olive oil
Servigs: Makes 1/2 cup paste
*Lightly* toast sesame seeds in a cast iron/heavy bottomed dry pan (about 1 minute)
Combine seeds and 1Tbs. of olive oil in blender (or "bullet") and pulverize for about 30 seconds. Add the remaining 1Tbs. of oil and continue to blend for about 30 more seconds.
The paste will not be liquified like store bought tahini, but will pack a sesame punch like nothing else.
*you can substitute toasted sesame oil for the olive oil ..... warning: sesame overload may result*
