Rice with kielbasa and broccoli

Ingredients
3 cups of white rice long6 cups of water2 tbsp olive oil2 cups broccoli1/4 cup onions chopped20 green beans1 tsp kosher salt16 oz Kielbasa 1/3 less fat
Directions
In a rice maker sautee the onions in olive oil until soft, add rice and kosher salt ;half way through add green beans. Steam the broccoli just before the water has been totally absorbed. While hte rice is cooking sautee the kielbasa. When rice is tender add broccoli and kielbasa, serve while hot and add ketchup for alittle sweet flavor. Makes about 8 servings of about 1 1/2 cups.

    Wouldn't put these ingredients together myself but needed a recipe to use up kielbasa and brocolli (freezer disaster) and this fit the bill. Surprisingly good tasting and filling. - 4/13/08

    I made dinner based on this recipe and it was very good. I don't think the calorie count listed here is correct as kielbasa is missing from the ingredients list. I used brown rice (.5 cup serving), 2 oz lean turkey kielbasa and added peppers as well as brocolli. cal=285. Delicious! I ate too much th - 6/18/07
