Cherokee Cocoa Sheath Cake

Ingredients
2 cups sugar2 cups flour1 stick butter1 cup water1/2 cup Crisco (optional)4 tbsp cocoa powder2 eggs1/2 cup milk or buttermilk1 tsp baking soda1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
1. Mix together sugar and flour.
2. Bring to boil butter, water, Crisco, and cocoa.
3. Pour over sugar and flour mix.
4. Add two eggs (beaten), 1/2 cup milk, baking soda, and vanilla.
5. Mix well.
6. Cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
