Potato Dumplings

Ingredients
2 lbs. potatoes1.5 to 2 cups flour.5 to .75 cups cracker meal or bread crumbs2 to 3 eggs 1.5 tsp. salt.25 tsp of nutmeg
Directions
Boil potatoes; put through ricer.

Put a large pot of water up to boil.

Mix in egg and seasonings; then flour, cracker meal, a bit at a time until a soft dough is formed

Form into balls

When dumplings are formed and water is boiling, drop dumplings, a few at a time, into boiling water to cook.

When they are cooked, they rise to the surface,

Remove from water and serve with butter or gravy
