1 cup chopped green onions1cup chopped green peppers1 cup sliced carrots 2 cloves garlic1/2 tsp sage1/2 tsp rosemary1 1/2 tsp marjoram2 cups uncooked organic brown rice4 cups of watersalt to taste1 cup bean sprouts, Optional
Saute vegetables in 1/4 cup water for 15 minutes. Stir in herb seasonings, rice andremaining water. Bring to boil. Lower heat, cover, and simmer on low heat until the liquid is absorbed,about 45 minutes. Do not stir while cooking. Turn of heat. Leave cover and let mixture set for 15 minutes before serving.
Add bean sprouts and add salt to taste.
