Ground Turkey Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
*Pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, unenriched, 1 crust, single 9" Ground Turkey, 1 unit, yield from 1 lb raw *Green Giant Cut Green Beans, can, 2 cup Tomato Soup, 1 can (10.75 oz) Cheddar Cheese, .5 cup, shredded (optional)Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped Mashed Potatoes, 2 cup
Directions
Brown ground turkey in skillet, add onion and saute. Drain and cool. Place pie crust in oven at 350 for 10 minutes. Peel , boil, and mash potatoes (may substitute instants).
Place drained ground meat mixture and pour into pie crust. Drain green beans and place on top of meat mixture. Pour and spread 1 can of tomato soup on top.
Top with shredded cheese (may omit) and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbling.
Serves 6.

    This is extremely high in sodium, I'll replace the tomato soup with a low sodium version (or crushed whole tomatoes mixed with tomato paste (YUM) ) and a lower fat or lower sodium cheese. - 4/7/10
