7 Layer Salad

Ingredients
* one head lettuce, chopped* salt and pepper* 6 hard-cooked eggs, sliced* 2 cups frozen peas, thawed* 8 ounces bacon, crisp-cooked, drained, and crumbled* 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded mild Cheddar cheese* 1/2 cup mayonnaise (do NOT use Miracle Whip!)* 1/2 cup ranch dressing* 1 bunch broccoli cut into florets* 1/2 a red onion, sliced and chopped into 1/4-rounds (can sub green onions)* paprika
Directions
Preparation:
Place a layer of the lettuce in bottom of large bowl.

Layer egg slices over lettuce in bowl and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Continue to layer vegetables in this order: peas, onions, crumbled bacon, broccoli, shredded cheese, remaining lettuce.

Combine mayonnaise and ranch; spread over top, spreading to edge of bowl to cover entire salad.

Cover and chill. Garnish with a little paprika. Toss before serving.
