40 Okra Pods approx 3" each(fresh, not frozen)2 TBS olive oilSalt and Pepper to taste or Seasoned salt ( I use Jane's Crazy Mixed-Up Salt)8 Bamboo skewers
1. Soak the Bamboo skewers in water. Wash and dry the okra. Put approx 10 pods on 2 skewers like a ladder. You will have 4 "ladders". This makes it easier to turn on the grill.\
2. Paint the Okra with Olive Oil and then season with salt to taste.
3. Place on a hot grill for approx 5 minutes per side.
Note. I like mine just almost burned... that makes them taste more like fried okra. My kids LOVE this and ask for it during the summer.
