Lentil and Brown Rice Soup

Ingredients
2 qts. water3/4 cup of dried lentils1/2 cup of uncooked brown rice1 envelope of onion soup mix1 can (14 ounces) diced and undrained tomatoes1 medium carrot1/2 cup of diced celery1 tablespoon of parsley4 chicken bouillon cubes1/2 teaspoon of basil1/2 teaspoon of oregano 1/2 teaspoon of salt1/2 teaspoon of pepper1/4 teaspoon of thyme1 tablespoon of cider vinegar
Directions
Bring all the ingredients (except the vinegar) to a boil. Cover and simmer for 45 to 60 minutes. Stir in the vinegar.
