Ingredients

    2 lbs fresh asparagus - washed and trimmed
    1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    2 tsp minced garlic
    coarse salt - to taste
    Lemon wedges

Directions

Toss asparagus with olive oil and garlic in a gallon sized ziplock bag. Spread in single layer on pam sprayed cookie sheet. Roast 450° - 13-17 min. Till edges of asparagus start to brown. Sprinkle with salt and fresh lemon juice before serving.

    Roasted vegies rock! Try this with brocolli & cauliflower. Can reduce oil by using a Misto or olive oil spray. - 9/16/08

    I find it easier just to brush a little olive oil on the spears instead of the zip-lock bag thing, but that's just me. It's a great recipe - especially if you are getting sick of steamimg everything. - 1/7/10
