Blueberry Bran Muffins

Ingredients

2 cups boiling water4 cups all bran cereal2 cups bran buds1 cup vegetable oil2 cups Brown Sugar1 cup White Sugar5 eggs4 cups butter milk, lowfat1 cup wheat germ2 cups AP flour2 cups WW flour5 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1) In a large bowl, mix All Bran and Buds.
2) Pour boiling water and stir to combine.
3) Set aside.
4) in another bowl, cream oil, sugars, eggs, and buttermilk
5) add dry ingredients to the wet mixture
6) fold in the bran
7) fold in the blueberries

You can either bake the muffins now or batter will keep in the frige for up to 6 weeks (I usually make the batter and bake fresh muffins every morning)
To bake the muffins:
8) bake at 400 for 15 mins or until golden
9) cool 5 mins and remove from muffin tin
makes approx 54 medium sized muffins
You can substitute raisins(1/2lb) or chocolate chips(2 cups) for blueberries
