Penne with Vodka and Spicy Tomato-Cream Sauce

Ingredients
2 Tbsp Olive oil3 garlic cloves minced1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakessea saltOne 28 oz can crushed tomatoes1 lb penne pasta2 Tbsp vodka1 cup half and half1/4 cup snipped fresh parsley.
Directions
In large unheated skillet, combine the oil, garlic, pepper and a pinch of salt. cook until garlic is golden 2 minutes or so. Add crushed tomatoes, stir to blend and simmer about 15 minutes until thickened.

Meanwhile, cook pasta and drain.

Add the drained pasta to the tomato sauce. Toss. Add the vodka, toss again, add the half and half and toss. Cover turn off the heat and let rest for 1 minute to allow the pasta to absorb the sauce. Add the parsley and toss again. Transfer to 6 warmed shallow soup bowls and serve immediately.
