1 package yellow cake mix5 Tbsp I can't believe it's not butter1 egg1 1/2 tsp of almond extract30 whole almonds
makes 30 cookies 1 cookie serving
beat cake mix, butter, egg and almond extract in large bowl with mixer at med speed. when well blended shape the dough into a ball and wrap in plastic refrigerate for 4 hours or over night.
preheat oven 350 spray cookie sheet or use parchment paper set aside.
shape dough into 1 inch balls place them 2 inches apart on cooke sheet press 1 almond in the center flattening slightly
brush with an egg yolk and water wash Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned..let cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes remove and finish cooling.
