'cream' of leek and carrot soup

Ingredients
2 leeks2 carrots 2 sticks celery1 tbsp butter1 tbsp flour1 chicken oxo (uk)(stock cube)1 cup water1 cup milk (2%)(semi skimmed)
Directions
chop all the veg and sweat/cook down for 5 mins to soften them.
Stir in the flour.
add water and stock cube.
Simmer until carrots are cooked.
add milk.
serve either chunky or blend with a hand blender.
