Apple dumplings

Ingredients
2 apples, each apple peeled & sliced into 8 slices2 packages reduced fat pillsbury crescents 2/3 c sugar1/2 cup butter1 tbsp cinnamon1/2 can mountain dew
Directions
Separate crescent roll dough in to triangles. Place one apple slice into each triangle and roll from skinny end up, sealing the sides. Place in greased baking dish. Melt butter, sugar, and cinnamon in saucepan. Pour over the dumplings, then pour soda over them. Bake at 350 for about 30-45 min, until golden.
