Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

1/4 cup all-purpose flour salt and pepper to taste 1 1/2 pounds round steak, cut into small pieces 3 stalks celery, chopped 1 onion, chopped 3 carrots, shredded or sliced1 cup sliced mushrooms1 box of Pomi strained tomatoes1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons brown sugar, or to taste
Place the vegetables and steak in a slow cooker. Mix in the tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Season to taste with salt and pepper (I sometimes also add a little Montreal Steak seasoning).
Cover, and cook 8 to 10 hours on Low or 4 to 5 hours on high, until the round steak is very tender.
