Meat Sauce for Spaghetti

Ingredients
2.5 lb extra lean ground beef2 medium onions, chopped5 cloves garlic, minced1/2 green pepper, chopped1 lb sliced mushrooms1 tsp pepper1 tsp salt1 tbs basil1 tbs cilantro2 tbs dried italian seasonings3 cans Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce2 cans diced tomatoes1 can tomato paste1 oz grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Brown ground beef in a large frying pan.
Drain off excess fat.
Add onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and garlic to the pan and saute until tender.
Transfer to a stock pot.
Add seasonings, tomatoes, tomato paste, and spaghetti sauce.
Simmer at least 2 hours stirring often to prevent scorching.
Add the grated parmesan to the sauce for the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
Serve over pasta of your choice.

Makes approximately 24 1/2 cup servings.
