vegetarian egg sausage casserole

Ingredients
Egg, fresh, 6 large Olive Oil 1 tbspOnions, raw, 1 cup, choppedMorningstar Farms Breakfast Patties, 6 patty Bread, whole wheat (including toast), 2 slice Cheddar or Colby Cheese, Low Fat, 1 cup, diced Milk, nonfat, 1 cup
Directions
In a skillet, sautee Sausage and onions in cooking oil or spray for about 5 minutes, until lightly browned. Layer sausage in the bottom of a 9"x 9" pan. Cut bread slices into 1 inch strips and layer them across the sausage.
In a small bowl beat the eggs and milk. Pour egg mixture evenly over the bread slices. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.


Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes until golden on top.
